What are the stages of a venture and how can CEU Universities help you?

The entrepreneurial spirit requires basic knowledge, skills and attitudes. This is the case of initiative, innovation, the ability to take risks, knowing how to work as a team, being able to organize by objectives, planning and negotiating, as well as developing critical and creative thinking.

The main phases of entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurship is a process in which the abilities that we foster in CEU students from the earliest years come into play. It is the natural consequence of a restless and innovative mind, aimed at providing solutions to society. These are the fundamental steps that any entrepreneurial project must go through:

Define the business idea

The first thing is to define the idea with which we are going to cover a market need. Here innovation is the key . What is your value proposition? What is your competitive advantage? We must offer something differentiating or enter a new market niche.

Analyze feasibility

It is possible that your idea is very good, but it is not possible or profitable to put it into practice. With the feasibility plan, it is studied whether it is worth going further. A market and competition study will be necessary, knowing what substitute products exist, defining our target audience with precision and detail, as well as estimating costs and sales.

Prepare the business plan

This roadmap includes everything necessary to start the project. It must include the conclusions of the viability plan, the chosen business model, the investment needs, the marketing plan and the business strategy… It is also very useful to present the venture when looking for investors or partners.

Establish the company

At this point, only the bureaucratic part remains. Choosing the appropriate legal form and creating a commercial company are the fundamental steps. Keep in mind that, depending on the business model, you will need to apply for permits and resolve other administrative issues for everything to be legal.

CEU Impregned, an initiative to promote entrepreneurship

Present in all CEU educational centers, from Schools to Universities, its objective is to promote the entrepreneurial spiritIt is in charge of providing training and tools to our students, so that they are able to carry out a successful entrepreneurial project. It places special emphasis on the more social aspect, which is why the CEU collaborates with NGOs and foundations with social purposes.

In summary, we help our students and alumni to put ideas into action, supporting them in all phases of their project. We achieve this through training in various formats, with the participation of professionals who can provide real experiences. In addition, we propose activities, networking opportunities, scholarships, international entrepreneurship programs… All with the collaboration of prestigious entities committed to education and entrepreneurship, such as the Santander group.
